Ernie Dalton is the Business Manager for the United Association of Plumbers Pipefitters and Welders, Local 682 and served as President for ten years prior. Ernie has twenty-six years of experience as a journeyperson steamfitter/pipefitter and welder with two Red Seal certifications. Ernie is the Co-Chair of the Nova Scotia Occupational Health and Safety Advisory Council; an Executive Board member with the Cape Breton Island Building and Construction Trades Council; President of the Nova Scotia Pipe Trades Association; a Board member with the Nova Scotia Construction Sector Council; and a Board member with the Nova Scotia Construction Safety Association.
